Personality tests are a fun way to define who you are as a brand, what might motivate your ideal clients, and help you pick which fonts might work best for your business. In this blog post, we’re defining font personalities using the Enneagram.
Abril Display
We would classify Abril Display as an Enneagram One. The Ones want to improve the world around them in various ways. They’re known as The Reformer and like to do the right thing and have a strong sense of purpose. Abril Display elegant font is classic, strong, and has a sense of idealistic traits.
GT Super Display
We would classify GT Super Display as an Enneagram Two. The Twos are kind and want to be helpful. They’re known as The Helper and love to support others. GT Super Display is feminine, courageous, and full of heart.
Champion HTF Bantamweight
We would classify Champion HTF Bantamweight as an Enneagram Three. The Threes want to be admired, respected, and successful. They’re known as The Achiever and are driven and ambitious. We assigned Champion HTF Bantamweight with the Three because it’s bold, demands attention and respect, and looks very professional.
Ohno Blazeface
We would classify Ohno Blazeface as an Enneagram Four. The Fours like to express their individuality and find their unique place in the world. Known as The Individualist, they’re creative and don’t have any desire to be like everyone else. We love the personality that comes through Ohno Blazeface. It’s fun, quirky, and definitely has its own personality.
Bookmania
We would classify Bookmania as an Enneagram Five. The Fives are independent, innovative, and love to have everything figured out. Known as The Thinker, they’re very knowledgeable in many things and want to understand things around them. We think Bookmania fits best with the Five because it’s reliable, classic, and smart.
Helvetica
We would classify Helvetica as an Enneagram Six. The Sixes are hardworking, responsible, and trustworthy. They’re there when you need them. Known as The Loyalists, they are reliable and seek stability and consistency in their lives. We think Helvetica fits best with the Six because it’s bold, classic, and will be around for the long haul.
Hegante Black
We would classify Hegante Black as an Enneagram Seven. The Sevens are spontaneous, extroverted, and optimistic. They like maintaining their freedom and happiness. Known as The Enthusiast, they’re playful, high-spirited, and always down for an adventure. We think Hegante Black fits best with the Seven because it’s fun and has a ton of personality.
Paralucent Condensed
We would classify Paralucent Condensed as an Enneagram Eight. The Eights are straight shooters, assertive, and like to show their dominance. Known as The Challenger, they like to prove their strength and want to protect the ones they love. We think Paralucent Condensed fits best with the Eight because it’s controlled, dominant, and shows its strength.
Freight Text
We would classify Freight Text as an Enneagram Nine. The Nines are peaceful, accepting, creative, and supportive. Known as The Peacemaker, they like to bring people together and create harmony in their environment. We think Freight Text fits best with The Nine because it’s calming, elegant, and pairs great with many different fonts.
